An Austin, Texas, pharmacy agreed to pay a civil penalty of $200,000 to resolve allegations that it violated various provisions of the Controlled Substances Act, including the requirement for self-certifying that its employees were trained in the requirements for selling ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and phenylpropanolamine products over the counter.
