DEA Final Rule Allows for Defaults, Specifies Requirements for Answers in Registration Proceedings

The DEA has finalized changes to its procedures for administrative hearings related to registration denials, revocations or suspensions. The changes, effective Dec. 14, will hold registrants and applicants in default when they fail to file a timely request for a hearing or otherwise fail to participate in a hearing.
