Pharmacist Sentenced for Presenting Forged Prescriptions To Stockpile Drugs for Use Against COVID-19

A Pittsburg, Kansas-based licensed pharmacist was sentenced Oct. 27 to three years’ probation and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and perform 100 hours of community service after she pleaded guilty to obtaining prescription drugs with forged prescriptions (United States v. Nyachira, No. 4:20-cr-00275-RWS-PLC (E.D. Mo.)).
