Walgreens Agrees to Pay Record $80 Million for Alleged CSA Violations

Walgreens has agreed to pay $80 million and implement new controls to settle allegations that retail pharmacies in Florida and possibly other states negligently allowed controlled substances, such as oxycodone and other prescription painkillers, to be diverted for abuse and black market sales.
